Rating plates are used to define performance parameters of certain types of equipment and are often mandated by a regulatory organization. Legibility and durability are of utmost importance as these plates are often subject to harsh environments.
Legend Plates
Legend plates are most commonly used to label the function of devices on and in electrical control panels. These can be generic in variety or customized for specific requirements.
Specifications
• Anodized aluminum in thicknesses from .012” to .125”.
• May include industrial-strength pressure-sensitive adhesive or holes for mounting.
• Stainless steel may be used for the most corrosive environments.
